MEET THE BAND:
Mike
Madill - Hometown: Delton, MI. Electric & acoustic guitar, keyboards, lead and background vocals. Mike has written several of the band’s original
songs. His musical influence goes back to 50’s and 60’s rock, with the Beatles being his favorite band of all time.
He has over 20 years of experience performing with several bands Mike is a member
of the Michigan Air National Guard, and has served his country for 20 years. Favorite bands
are the 4 B's: the Beatles, Byrds, Beach Boys, and Big Tent Revival
Kendall
Dyer - Hometown: Delton, MI. Lead, rhythm, & acoustic guitar, lead and
background vocals. Kendall strives for the perfect guitar sound to suit each
song. His roots stem from early country to all styles of rock and blues.
Kendall has also written some of the band's material. He went to school with
Mike and they were in the Rock Band "Rockin Horse" in the 1980's.
Favorite Musicians: Joe Walsh, Willie Nelson and Del Shannon
Jim
Eccles - Hometown: Kalamazoo, MI. Guitar & Vocals. Jim has played
music virtually his whole life. He started singing in Church at a very early
age. He has played in several Rock Bands, including 'Arsenal' and two
Christian Rock Bands 'Sons of Thunder' and 'Kedron' with fellow BWR band
member, Mike Madill. Jim is a talented singer and songwriter and has penned
many great songs, including "Fire up Your Faith" and "Kalamazoo
Rocks", a song about rocking in his hometown. Favorite musicians and
bands are: Johnny Cash, the Beatles and Stones, and Kiss.
Chris
Nozicka - Hometown: St. Joseph, MI. Drums & percussion, background
vocals. Chris has played the drums since age 12, and is a perfect fit to be
the time keeper for BWR. He also brings marketing and graphic talents into the
band and has designed one of their CD covers. Chris has collaborated with the
band to co-write one of the bands original tunes. He is also a member of the
Michigan Air National Guard and has served his country for over 20 years.
Favorite Drummers: Neal Peart/Steve Smith.
